Most of Borg Indak's products have been designed in-house, by Borg Indak engineers, to fit our customer's specific requirements. We also offer engineering services: design, prototype and testing.

Our Engineering involvement often begins with our Sales Engineers, based in Farmington Hills (Detroit), Michigan, Hamburg, Germany, and our home offices in Northbrook, Illinois and Delavan, Wisconsin.  We also have several Sales Engineering affiliates based in Mukwanago, Wisconsin; Cincinnati, Ohio and Muenster, Texas.

Our philosophy is to work "Designer to Designer" directly with our customers’ Design Engineers to reduce development time and to produce the best possible product.

Our Engineering Model Shops in Wisconsin and Illinois both use CAD data input to directly control tool paths of CNC machine tools for quick, error-free prototyping.  Our affiliate Techny Plastics uses CAD data for prototype and production mold making.
